Light Noise

But who are Light Noise? Details of their Novacastrian backgrounds are murky and shady. Rumour has it that each member of Light Noise met on the set of the first deep space reality Television show starring Paris Hilton, Mr T and The Hoff. Following a tragic episode where one of the key members of the soon-to-be-formed band was sucked into deep space the series was never put to air. Once back to Earth and grieving the loss of their space-eaten compatriot, the financially and morally bankrupt remaining members came to the conclusion that they had no other choice but to form a band.

So what have Light Noise ever done? Glad you asked. In about a year these young cats have:

• Won the Newcastle Brewery Expozay Band Competition, playing New Years Eve 2006 with the likes of Silverchair, The Beautiful Girls & Something With Numbers
• Supported Evermore, After The Fall, Koolism, Mammal, 28 Days, Regular John, I Heart Hiroshima, Peabody & Die Die Die!
• Came runner up in the 2006 Newcastle Music Week Band Competition
• Made front cover of The Newcastle Herald Weekender Magazine
